Funk Mediterraneo - Red Balls EP [Blockhead]

House Music For The True House Heads!!!

This ep has remixes from Wattie Green, Souljay, and Mr. Clean. All mixes bring the funk and are suitable in any house head party.

First up we've got Mr. Clean's version. Think Dj Sneak back in the late 90's. Thats the vibe he brings on this one. Mr. Clean's remix has been getting hammered by Mark Farina for the past few months. Farina put it on his Podcast small asteroid in August and has also been rocking it at various clubs throughout the world. Here's a quick video of him dropping the red balls hammer!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i883zOGz_aA...feature=related

Next up we've got the always on fire Wattie Green. He brings his signature sound to the table which is laden with funky, jazzy horns and vocal snippets throughout. Cocaine in a can baby!!!! Funny and sick at the same time.

Souljay takes it a bit dubbier all the while keeping the same amount of funk. This one has a really funky bassline and horn snippets in all the right places. Good on ya Jay!

Kings Of Tomorrow Featuring April - Take Me Back [Defected]

preview

- Strikingly current yet hauntingly retrospective, 'Take Me Back' represents Sandy Rivera's best work in recent memory and further cements his reputation as one of the greatest house producers of all time. Having chased down new collaborator April and persuaded her to provide the vocals for the track (he heard her singing as she rode past him on a bicycle), Rivera lays on subtle keys and a wandering bass line, underpinning a beautifully restrained song and resulting in a modern-day classic.Kings Of Tomorrow featuring April 'Take Me Back' (Sandy Rivera's Original Mix) Written and Produced by Sandy Rivera for Kings Of Tomorrow ProductionsVocals Written and Performed by April MorganPublished by Defected MusicPandC 2011 Defected Records Limited

Danny J Lewis - Deeper (Get Up) / Organic [Enzyme Black]

Danny J Lewis hits back with a bumpy underground banger and a pure deep jazzy house cut

Already supported by Shane D, Grant Nelson, Aaron Ross, Martin Ikin, Jeremy MyLoveIsUnderground and more this 90s influenced double header packs a serious punch on the dancefloor.

Lead cut Deeper (Get up) fuses the old with the new with a glitchy and repetitive vocal hook over a classic M1 organ riff. Stop start edits cause the dancefloor destruction. This one is BIG!

B-Side Organic is the connoisseur's choice with its early 90s jazz influenced deepness.. already causing a stir on the more highbrow dancefloors.

Priss - On My Way (Incl. Ricone, Rancido & PolyRhythm Remixes) [Offering] {promo}

release date: Feb/24/2011
preview

Offering new sensation, produced by Boddhi Satva & Atjazz

Priss was introduced by Jack Kabamba (CEO of JMoney Ent.) to Boddhi Satva early 2010 to initially work on One single. After the first day of recording, He knew this would not be the only piece of music he would be writing with her. He sent what he had written of the song to Atjazz who absolutely loved the atmosphere and vibe of the original that he indeed took this song even further to heights that only he has the secret. This collabo between Atjazz & Boddhi together with the amazing talent of Priss has given birth to the wonderful ON MY WAY.

The single Includes remixes by Offering favorite Ricone, as well as future Offering artists Dutch sensation Rancido and NYC up & comers PolyRhythm.

About Priss:

Priss was born in 1984 in Kinshasa (DRC).
Her family had to leave her mother land in 1991 because of the war. This journey took her and her family to Belgium where she pursued her education in medicine. She always felt the frustration of not being able to be accomplished in her first passion, Singing. She began singing at the church as a young girl and she was already noticed for her vocal tone and melodic ability's. During this journey in Belgium, she joined an Acoustic band that was playing Hip Hop which allowed her to be out there, on her own vocally for the first time. She was soon noticed by Dj Kost who at the time and until now remains one of France's most popular R&B and Hip Hop Deejays.

Priss was quickly signed to his label Hit Trackerz to record her first musical piece entitled Numéro 1 dans la Ville in english Number 1 in Town. Supported by NRJ Radio which is the biggest Mainstream radio in France and Belgium, her single is ranked in third position in the Radio's Charts.

Shortly after that she was blessed with the birth of her son whom then made her stronger and helped her realise that it was time to move to the next chapter and bring her perspective on music with soul. Whether she sings in English, French or Lingala, she try to translate into lyrics her understanding of the world as she goes to each stage of it one step at a time.

Currently working on her debut album produced by Boddhi, Atjazz and a few other surprise guests producers, expect her to be One vocalist to makes a decisive move in the game with a true and raw talent.
